East Rand born Adri van Heerden (Stage name A3), grew up in a difficult family life and as a young child turned to music for comfort. Determined to make a better life for herself she worked hard becoming a successful business woman in the transport industry, but never forgetting her true passion ......Music.

She decided late in life, after competing in a singing competition , to pursue a singing career.
With her deep passion for music she has always enjoyed entertaining people with her unique voice.
​
Her music genres that she enjoys and draws inspiration from are Pop, Rock, Country and Afrikaans, with artists of the likes of Neil Diamond and Smokie amongst others.
With her authentic rustic voice , there is an integrity and honesty that leaves no pretences.
A3 is unapologetically who she is, and this is what draws people to her, as she does not make excuses for who she.
She is a humble person with a very unique style and voice.

Her debut album, Living My Dream, was released in February 2019 at Bru's Bar at Carnival City, consisting of cover songs that showcase her unique deep rich voice.
​
During Covid Lockdown she penned Nasie in Rou, a song very close to her heart.
​
This was showcased on her second album Roekeloos, which was released at the end of June 2021. This album has 7 original songs among the titles, of which 2 she wrote herself.

Her original song Nasi in Rou went on to win her the Afri-Indie Adult Contemporary Single of the year (2021)

A year later in June 2022 she released 2 cover albums with songs close to her heart.
Rustic Charm is a cover country album, and Vuur en Vlam is a album featuring mainly Afrikaans covers with only 3 English tracks.
​
Currently she has been busy with 2 new singles, which will be released in 2023.
​
She is extremely proud and excited to have worked with one of South Africa's great songwriters and artists - Rudi Claase.
Rudi has written her a song and he is in the process of producing the finished product. He has complemented her on her unique voice, calling her "SA se eie rasperstem-engel"
